Dear Boys and Girls,

Here are your weekend reminders:

1) Math homework (by Monday)

Complete Practice 3 & Math Journal (no need to explain) Pg 99 - 102 (if not completed in class) and Challenging Practice & Problem Solving Pg 105 - 108. SKIP PRACTICE 4 (to be done on Monday in class). PLEASE SHOW ALL WORKING CLEARLY WITH UNITS.

2) English homework (due next Tuesday)

Complete the Compo "Being Adventurous". Visit the GCE study buddy website for descriptive vocab. Targets are to have more details (Explode the moment) and to have no Grammar, Spelling or Punctuation errors.

Dear Children,

1) Please complete Angles Practice 2. Remember to show your working clearly.

2) For EL, please write out the SBC script for Pg 47 of Listening Comprehension book. Use the T.R.E.E.S method in writing your script.

1) Please complete Math Problem Sums (Branching Method) by tomorrow.

2) Science Practical Test will be on Thursday 28 July 2016.

3) Math remedial pupils, please be reminded that Friday's remedial has been cancelled as I have to bring a group of pupils out for competition.

Friday 22 July

Dear Children,

1) Please complete Math Review 5 (by Monday).

2) Please complete Science WB Act 1.2 & 1.3 by TUESDAY.

3) Do EL Cloze Practice WS by TUESDAY.

4) Re-read Ch 12-14 of "Around the World in 80 Days" and list the main events in the story on a piece of paper or inside the book by TUESDAY.

5) Study for Spelling 'Forming Verbs'.

6) The Science Practical Test will be held next Thursday, 28 July 2016.

Wednesday, 20 July

Dear Children,

1) Please complete the remaining 6 Percentage problem sums. We will continue to share our solutions tomorrow using Socrative.

2) Remember to bring a food label for Science lesson tomorrow.

3) The school will be commemarating Racial Harmony Day tomorrow. You are encouraged to be in your ethnic clothes. (with school shoes). You may bring along your PE attire to change into if you want to do so.

3) Study the word lists on Pg 58 - 59 of Preston for Spelling.

Reminders for NE Show:

1) Be in school by 3pm.
2) Wear Red T-Shirt and school shorts/skirt.
3) Bring a small bag with a water bottle. A camera is optional.

Friday 8 July

Dear Children,

1) Please complete Measurements Practice 2, Problem Solving and Challenging Problems. You can leave out the Math Journal. Do complete corrections for Practice 1 as well.

2) Bring the SMILE booklets next Monday.

I&E Matters

• Wear class T-Shirt and any school bottoms. School shoes is preferable but you may wear sports shoes.
• Please familiarise yourselves with the game details and exhibit details.
• Look through the duty list below and check the time you have to be stationed at the stalls.
• Please do not bring a lot of money or valuables. Your bags will be kept under a table with minimal supervision amidst the crowd.
• Remember that you MUST be at the class stall during your duty time slot.

Thursday 7th July

Dear Children,

1) Please complete Science Electricty WB Ex 6.5 and the Challenging Electricity Worksheet.

2) For English, please re-read Chapters 5 to 7 of 'Around the World' and do Pg 9 of the WB. Also, read the notes on 'Cloze Reading Tips'.

** I will only post the I&E duty list tomorrow as I have to make some adjustments today. You may look at the details of the 2 game stalls below.

Dear Children,

Trust that you've had a restful weekend. Here are some reminders for you:

1) You have received the P5 camp letters. Please show your parents and submit the registration form and Edusave form/payment by Thursday. Do let me know if you have any change of address that has not been updated as this might affect the amount you need to pay for the camp.

2) I&E matters

- Please confirm the game and exhibition details by Thursday so that the class know what your group's project is about. You also need to tell me number of tables/chairs you need.
- I will prepare the duty list by Thursday.
- For attire, please wear any school T-Shirt (house/PE/class).
- Bring all your materials by THURSDAY. I can help to keep for you in the staffroom.
